IT Security made in Germany
The initiative IT Security made in Germany is an association of German IT security companies. The initiative's intention is to support cooperation between German suppliers of IT security solutions and partners in foreign countries. It is a network of manufacturers, system integrators, service providers, research institutes, and public services. The initiative is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and works as Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Organisation and management are lying with Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT.
This international partnership network enables German IT Security companies to use the instruments of the external trade promotion and bundles the export control of the Federal Government. It establishes a network of these German companies with authorities of the federation, in order to efficiently use existing public services for the development of foreign markets in the target regions Arabian countries, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe. The network covers a considerable number of German enterprises working on Crypto economy, trusted services (PKI), secure service providers, biometry and system integration. The networks is open for further German IT security companies.
